The Google Glass is an innovative gadget with the mission of producing a ubiquitous computer. Researchers at the McMaster Pediatric Eye Research Group have taken advantage of the Google Glass and its potential, and have developed a novel software with technicians internationally. Funded by the MSA, the software has the ability to detect people, objects and locations. Ultimately, we hope to be able to one day develop the software to the point where blind children will be able to enjoy a world to explore without being burdened by their walking sticks.
