The McMaster Pediatric Eye Research Group (McPERG) promotes the development of new frontiers for research into children’s eye disease by encouraging the communication and cross-pollination of ideas among other departments and professions. McPERG encompasses the delivery of evidence-based primary, secondary and tertiary level eye care research to improve vision screening accessibility and delivery, to ensure that no one – especially a child – will be disadvantaged by circumstance.

By working as a multidisciplinary team, we are doing our best to ensure that all children have a voice and equal opportunities regardless of socioeconomic status.
