Eye Mac
Who We Are
EYE MAC is a multidisciplinary not for profit community project, bringing together Hamilton’s eye care professionals, school boards and McMaster University to deliver high-quality, free vision screening to school children. We have developed an evidence-based method of training volunteer vision screeners to a high standard. The volunteers perform vision screening in schools, where children with reduced vision are identified and referred to local optometrists for further care and treatment.
Below you can find our annual reports as well as a list of local optometrists who support our program.
